This past Sunday 4 OVFC fireman attended a Grain Bin Rescue course in Mine Run. This course was graciously sponsored by our local Farm Bureau office. As part of the sponsorship, a new prop was also purchased on their behalf to support future training events geared around Grain Bin Rescues. Our county remains heavily agricultural and your Fire & Rescue departments take these classes to be better prepared for any emergency that could arise.

OVFC was represented by Lieutenant Steve Kannard and firemen Chadwick Yancey, Jonathan Krinke, and Matt Richards. Agencies from across Orange and Spotsylvania County attended this training event this past weekend.
